Things to Consider before you buy.
Time you have to spend with your new family member. Think of them as such because they will you. 100% dependent on you for everything everyday. They own you and not the other way around.
Size of bird you can afford housing, toys and care for. Birds need lost of room to move around so they can exercise and play without bumping into hanging toys. You should consider a cage that gives the bird no less than 12 inces of room with wings spread out on either side.
Personality traits. Yours and the birds. We all have little querks about us that makes us different. Birds are all a little the same but they too have querks you should learn about.
Diet, Food is the most important part of caring for your avian companion. They require a very rounded diet just like you. A variety of foods are available on the market for you to choose from. Variety is the key to a happy healthy bird. 25/25/25 rule. Seed/Pellet/Human food daily.

We have several species available that we raise here. We maintain a closed aviary year round. Most of the birds that breed here now were hatched and raised here. I never can seem to sell the babies when it is time for them to go. That is how this became an aviary. We started with just a hand full really and it turned into what we know today as Parrot Pets, A Friend For Life.
I have just started to add a few products for my visitors as they are made available. I will be adding new items as I can. Please take the time to visit and share it with someone you know. All items are bird safe and vet approved for the health of your avian friend.

You have not experienced it all. Birds have taught me so many things through out the years. They have brought out the best in me. Being able to know and share my life with them is an experience I can hardly convey. They have become my life, my family and I am dedicated to doing what needs to be done to help the lives of all avian families live long happy lives together.
